In 2025, Asensus Surgical set out to create a social media campaign that would shine a light on the people behind its health-tech innovations. While the company’s technology is transforming surgery, its employees are responsible for bringing that vision to life. Asensus developed the Employee Spotlight campaign to celebrate their contributions, showcase the diverse talent across the organization, and humanize the brand in a genuine and meaningful way.

While social media in the healthcare industry can often feel product-heavy, Asensus sought to shift that narrative. By highlighting the people who fuel success, Asensus aimed to make its brand feel more approachable and authentic. Recognizing employees publicly not only gives them a sense of pride but also strengthens company culture by reinforcing that every role plays a part in advancing digital surgery.

To bring the series to life, Asensus collaborated with teams across the organization to identify individuals whose stories reflect both company values and showcase the expertise within Asensus. Each feature includes personal insights, career journeys, and reflections on what motivates them to push the boundaries of surgical innovation. This approach highlights both the professional excellence and human qualities that make Asensus exceptional.

The campaign delivered strong results that demonstrate the power of people-focused storytelling. Each spotlight generated an average of more than 7,400 impressions, well above standard content benchmarks, with individual posts reaching between 3,400 and 5,800 members. Engagement remained consistently high, averaging 174 reactions per post and showing clear interest from both employees and external audiences. One particular spotlight stood out with 216 reactions and 14 reposts, making it one of the company’s highest-performing posts of the year.

Each spotlight became a shareable moment, organically expanding the company’s reach and amplifying its brand. The series allowed Asensus to highlight a wide range of perspectives, from young professionals to long-tenured experts, demonstrating the collaborative environment that drives innovation. By giving employees a platform to share their stories, Asensus strengthened its internal culture and built deeper connections with external audiences.
