The RISER is a breakthrough safety innovation designed to solve one of healthcare and emergency response’s most common and physically hazardous challenges: lifting fallen or non-ambulatory individuals from the floor safely, efficiently, and with dignity.

Every day, caregivers, EMTs, firefighters, and healthcare professionals are required to assist patients in unpredictable environments such as homes, bathrooms, bedrooms, long-term care facilities, and emergency scenes. Traditional lifting methods often depend on human strength, multiple responders, awkward body mechanics, and improvised techniques that can lead to caregiver injuries, delayed care, and secondary harm to the patient.

The RISER transforms that process through intelligent mechanical design. It enables a controlled, stable, and repeatable lift that significantly reduces physical strain while improving patient safety and comfort. Instead of dragging, pulling, or manually hoisting individuals, caregivers can elevate patients in a smoother and more respectful manner.

Unlike bulky powered lifts or equipment limited to ideal spaces, The RISER is compact, portable, durable, and rapidly deployable in the confined environments where falls most frequently occur. Its practical design allows immediate use across EMS, hospitals, rehabilitation centers, assisted living communities, and home healthcare.

Developed from frontline experience, The RISER was created by professionals who understood the real-world consequences of lifting injuries, staffing shortages, and vulnerable patient transfers. That insight produced a solution that is not only innovative, but genuinely usable.

Its impact has already earned independent recognition, including a 2025 Firehouse Magazine Innovation Award and finalist recognition in the EMS World Innovation Awards.
